Samson Meteorite USB Mic in More Detail
The Samson Meteorite is a desktop USB condenser microphone. It’s easy to set up, with built-in wire, so it really is just a case of plug and play.
The voice quality will be a significant improvement over your computer’s built in microphone. However, you might wish to compare it to Samson’s other little USB microphone – the Samson Go Mic.
Although the Meteorite boasts a large diaphragm condenser, the Go Mic has other features (switchable pickup pattern and headphone socket) which may make it more of a winner for you.
In either case, hopefully the uncompressed audio and the video review will help you make up your mind for yourself. Don’t forget you can directly compare the Meteorite with all the other USB mics we have tested in this post.
