Gorgeous white home recording studio essentials that will all work beautifully together. Simplify your studio and boost your creativity.
*** Spoiler Alert … this post is completely non-technical and is all about making your home studio look pretty instead ***
The whole purpose of this site, in fact my mission in life, is to help you set up your first home recording studio. And over the years it has become easier and more affordable than ever.
So whether you want to record your voice, guitar, keyboard, whatever…. Or make a podcast. Arrange your first hit album. Improve the way you play piano. Learn to read music. Create great audio tracks for your videos. Kickstart a new career or hobby. Good news…
Everything is possible!
But here’s the thing. Getting started is the hardest part. Trying to choose the key studio essentials to make your first crucial recordings and getting your home recording studio up and running can be agonising. There is almost too much choice. And with so much fabulous home recording studio gear around, much of which does the same thing with the same specs where do you start?
Well I have been looking again at some of the lovely recording equipment you can buy, and I say when you have covered all the technical bases … indulge yourself on the looks. Yeah, I know, beauty is only skin deep, but that’s not to say that your recording studio should be ugly. And it doesn’t have to be either!
While you are busy creating your perfect home studio recording environment, shouldn’t you also be thinking about the aesthetics of your creative space? Yes, I think you should.
So you can read in my other posts lots of technical stuff and useful information about what to look for when choosing a MIDI keyboard, find out what is an audio interface, or how to pick the right USB microphone. But once you have in mind a few options, and all other things are equal, why not go for a completely colour co-ordinated look?
I love the idea of building a creative haven for my home recording, and getting together lovely studio recording gear that matches. So I’ve been scouring around and found WHITE is a great option. Look below at just HOW MANY cool white keyboards, synths, mics and MIDI controllers there are!
They. Are. Gorgeous. And work beautifully too.
I’m convinced that if you create a space that looks fabulous, then your recordings are going to sound heavenly. What do you think? Have you gone for colour co-ordination in your studio? If so take a pic and share it on my special pinterest board. I wanna see!
